PEOPLE RIGHT from contractors to officers belonging to a particular caste, are having a field day in the Madhyanchal distribution company. Ever since the company head joined a few months back, people belonging to the ?T-Series?, a term used by many to indicate that particular caste, started getting favours from the top. It is said that more and more officials are now trying to associate themselves with the T-Series in one way or the other.

LDA-YDA!

THE CITY’S development regulator (read LDA) has found a new nomenclature for itself. What with a surfeit of Yadav officers’ dominating its every nook and corner right from the post of secretary to additional public relations officer, finance controller, chief engineer to an officer on special duty, people say that the letter ‘L’ in the civic agency should now be replaced by ‘Y’ in keeping with the signs of time.

Test without practice
FIRST YEAR MBBS students at KGMU this year will take their Biochemistry practical exam without even doing the practical in the lab. This is because the lab is under renovation for the last three months. Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology form the base for MBBS course in the first year. Students learn the basics of physical anatomy and about the chemical reactions inside the human body. But with the lab under construction, students would take the exam on the basis of theory, which they have learnt in the classroom during theory sessions.
