It is learnt that Aditya Chopra has finally decided to forgive but not forget director Vijay Krishna Acharya for Tashan.

With the courage of a Viking soldier, he has asked Acharya to make another movie for Yash Raj Films.

Last heard, Adi bhai had very caustically told Acharya to assist an established filmmaker before thinking of directing another movie. But now in a surprising sugar rush of affection, he will give Acharya another chance.

According to a source associated with Yash Raj, “Victor (as Acharya is called) spoke to Abhishek Bachchan about his
next movie and expressed a desire to cast him.

No time
Abhishek politely declined, saying he couldn’t commit any dates since he will be busy with Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, Rajeev Menon’s musical and the home-production Pa to be directed by Baalki.” Pa, by the way will be played, by Pa.

Acharya has spoken to a couple of other stars who have worked with Yash Raj before (not the canteen). “But so far, Victor hasn’t got a positive response from anyone,” says our source.
