Tata BP?s solar care programme over

india Updated: Sep 08, 2006 00:17 IST

OVER A month-long solar care programme by Tata BP Solar India Ltd, for their complete range of non-subsidised solar water heating systems installed at several hotels, institutions, schools and colleges, hospitals and even individual houses in Allahabad, concluded recently at the residence of JSK Bhagat, the first domestic user of Tata BP solar water heating system.

He has been using the system for more than four years now.

Giving this information, Sharad Shukla, customer support executive from Tata BP Solar India Ltd, emphasised that under solar care, the company  motivated local dealers and support centres to organise free service camps for customers by taking service to the customers’ doorstep, irrespective  of the number of years behind the installation.

The free service at customers site was launched on July 9, 2005  when the local service support  team cleaned the Tata BP 2000 litres/day solar water heating system  at Hotel Grand Continental, the first user at Allahabad of an industrial solar water heating  system. It had used more than 33 lakh  litres of hot water for its hotel application.

Giving this information Biman Roy of Premier Tecknologies, Allahabad, the local dealer cum-marketing associates of  Tata BP, emphasised that Allahabad was a city prone to water hardness about 300 ppm and Premier  had taken the initiative  to make the user aware  of this aspect  irrespective  of what  brands they  were adopting of a solar water heating system.
