The Kerala government on Tuesday handed over 86 acres of land to IT major Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) to build a Rs 1,000 crore billion training and development centre in Thiruvananthapuram.
The new campus, which will be completed in three years, will house 10,000 professionals and offer company’s high-end curriculum to those who are joining at entry level. This will be the largest training centre of the TCS.
“The 10,000-seat campus will set the global benchmark for corporate learning institutions in terms of the physical infrastructure available as well as the holistic professional and personal development programs that will be available,” said N. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS. The new campus will be a big boost to the Technocity.
