Tata group blue-chip company and IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Government to set up a 50-acre campus in Pune.

The MoU was signed by TCS chairman S Ramadorai and Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh in Mumbai on Saturday.

The Tata company will be investing Rs 500 crore in the campus, which will initially have a seating capacity of 5000. This will gradually be scaled up to 10,000, Ramadorai said.
