Teacher booked for thrashing students

The incident took place on Friday when the teacher beat the students with a stick and made them do sit-ups during which some of them fainted, Balwan Singh, Julana police station SHO, said.

The girls were shifted to Julana community health centre from where they were discharged in the evening, he said.

On the complaint of the victims’ parents, a case was registered against the teacher and a probe initiated, the SHO added.
