A teacher at a private school in Dhanbad has been accused of sexually assaulting two minor girls, recording obscene MMS videos of them and taking their pictures, which he circulated among people.

Accused Shyam Narayan Yadav used to give tuitions to the two minor sisters, one nine-year-old and the other aged 11, who are daughters of a Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) official.

While being circulated, the pictures reached the girls' parents on Wednesday. After questioning the sisters, the parents lodged an FIR against Yadav on Thursday.

Police raided Yadav's house on Thursday and arrested his nephew for his role in circulating the pictures and the videos, said Sindri DSP Rama Shankar Singh.
Yadav is absconding and police have launched a manhunt to nab him.

The girls were sent to the Patliputra Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for a medical examination.
