A: Hang out with like-minded programmers

There are interest groups for everything – cooking, music, cycling, blogging and the oldest interest groups can be traced back to computers. Delhi/ NCR is home to various communities of interest.

Delhi Technology Forum

is the community of IT professionals in the Delhi/ NCRwhere they share their ideas, problems and knowledge with each other. The group has been functional for over 10 years hosting events and conferences from time to time. The group’s activities are conducted and supported by volunteers who take their time from regular work to spread the technology they have developed expertise in. The community has professionals from every stage of their career – software engineers to architects. Being with the community the Forum gives them the opportunity to learn new things in the IT field, connect and explore the latest technologies.

The rapid pace of technological advancement has made sure that people keep returning to the forum to learn new technologies.

Col. Dhanraj, a very regular attendee at the forum events says, “Technology is moving at such a blazing speed that one can’t stay disconnected. What you learnt three years ago is no more relevant. Hearing experts at DTF meets are a sure way of staying on top of where technology is headed.”

After hosting numerous events, Delhi Technology Forum is now hosting Technology Conclave 2011 (TechCon) for technology professionals.

TechCon 2011

is a 2 day event

(Dec 17 & 18)

with Day 1 focused on Developer technologies and Day 2 focused on IT management. Rishu Mehra, a member of the organizing committee stresses that, “TechCon is not about content and sessions – they also provide an opportunity for you to interact with and have your questions answered by the very people who work on these technologies day-in and day-out. These people can help you plan the technology features and architecture in support of your business goals.”

One of the registrants Tanmay Kapoor is very excited about attending the 2 day technology bonanza and mentions – “The unique feature of this event is the star lineup of speakers from industry practitioners, MVPs and Microsoft employees. I am most excited about seeing the new Windows Phone from Microsoft at TechCon.”
