Teen killed over eve-teasing in Indore

A teenager was killed and another injured when they were stabbed by three other teenagers near Raju Auto Garage on Tuesday afternoon. Police said that the stabbing took place over the issue of eveteasing. Police have registered a case and started a hunt for the accused.

CSP RS Ghuraiya talking to HT said that victim Ravi Dangi ( 19) and his friend Ankit Agarwal (18) went to talk to the accused Sanju (18) about the eve-teasing of a girl, Rita (name changed).

“Rita was a like a sister to Dangi and Agarwal so they went to advise them not to tease her. Sanju first left the spot and then returned with three friends and attacked the duo with knives,” the CSP said. The incident occurred at around 1 pm and the trio fled from the spot after the incident.

Both of them were seriously injured and were admitted to the nearby hospital were Dangi died after sometime. The accused, victim and the girl all are residents of Arjun Nagar locality. The girl was studying in a Kanya Shala.

"A case has been registered under section 302 and 307 of the IPC and investigation is going on," said the CSP. Meanwhile, police are yet to identify the accomplices of Sanju and no arrest has been made till late evening.
