COLD WEATHER finally seems to have caught up with the City, which registered minimum temperature at 8.8 degree Celsius on Wednesday. This condition has been witnessed in most parts of the State as the northern parts of the country shiver under a cold wave.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded in the City today was a degree less than normal.
The lowest temperature in the State was recorded at 7 degree Celsius in Khajuraho. In the past 24 hours, the weather remained dry and did not receive precipitation unlike the north. A sharp drop in temperature was registered from Tuesday night onwards in Rewa, Jabalpur and Chambal divisions.
However, partial change in temperature has been recorded in other divisions including Indore, which registered one degree above normal temperature on Tuesday that dropped to one degree below normal on Wednesday.
