Tennis ball night cricket tourney begins

THE FIRST flood-lit tennis ball cricket tournament for Agniban Trophy began at the Usha Raje cricket grounds today. MLAs Mahendra Hardia, Ashwin Joshi, Laxmansingh Goud and Manoj Patel along with Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association joint secretary Subhash Bais and stadium construction co-chairman and president of Indore Divisional Cricket Association Shravan Gupta and secretary Kanwaljeet Khanuja inaugurated the tournament.

THE FIRST flood-lit tennis ball cricket tournament for Agniban Trophy began at the Usha Raje cricket grounds today.

MLAs  Mahendra Hardia, Ashwin Joshi, Laxmansingh Goud and Manoj Patel along with Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association joint secretary Subhash Bais and stadium construction co-chairman and president of Indore Divisional Cricket Association Shravan Gupta and secretary Kanwaljeet Khanuja inaugurated the tournament.

Four matches were played on the inaugural day. The first match was played between GMG and the 7th Day. GMG  batted first and scored scored 81runs in the allotted overs.  7th  Day failed to chase the score and managed to score just 72 runs. GMG won the match by nine runs.
