Ritiesh Deshmukh, resident comedian of Bollywood will finally do a non-comic role in Cash. And the actor seems to be pretty happy about it. Reason?

“Since I started, my character has always been that of a comedian and people always ask me why another comedy,” says Ritiesh, adding, “The Fact is that I don’t get to choose my roles. I just take whatever comes my way. And if my producers and directors think that I am better off at comedy, then so be it.”

Talking about Cash, he says, “It is an action thriller and my character is not funny, this is how I can best define the movie.” According to him, his current release, Apna Sapna Money Money is the most difficult film so far.

“I am a conman, who changes faces and masquerades. To do so, I have different get ups in this film, including that of a woman,” he quips. On the personal front, Ritiesh says, “I am just another boy with regular likes and dislikes. I like to hang out with friends. Whenever we get time we go out for dinner and watch movies.”

Well, there’s a globetrotter too inside him. “I love to travel and meet people.” However, his close association with humour in reel life has helped in real life too.
“To make someone laugh is the toughest act. While doing so, I have learnt how to take things with a pinch of salt, and with out getting agitated about it.”
Well said, Ritiesh!
