Water’s not the only life-saving liquid. Sip these smoothies and juices for quick internal cooling.

Pears, green apple and orange juice
Pears, cored 50 gms
Green apple, cored
100 gms
Orange 1/2
Blend all the ingredients together and serve immediately

Masala chhach
Yoghurt 100 ml
Roasted cumin 5 gms
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander 5 gms
Chopped ginger 2 gms
Chopped green chillies 2 gms
Blend all the ingredients and serve chilled

Cucumber, pineapple, mint and lemon
Cucumber 1
Pineapple, cored 1/2
Mint leaves 10 gms
Lemon, squeezed 1
Blend the cucumber, pineapple and mint leaves, then add the lemon juice and serve immediately

Red apple, carrot and beetroot juice
Red apple, cored 75 gms
Carrot, peeled 75 gms
Beetroot, peeled and diced 75 gms
Put all three in the juicer and serve immediately

Carrot and red apple juice
Carrot, peeled 150 gms
Apple, cored 150 gms
Put the carrots and apples in the juicer and serve immediately

Aam panna
Raw mangoes 1 kg
Roasted cumin powder 25 gms
Black salt to taste
Sugar/jaggery 50 gms/to taste
Roast the raw mangoes in an oven or boil them. Remove the skins, take out the pulp and keep aside. Meanwhile, dissolve the sugar/jaggery in hot water and keep aside. Mix the roasted cumin powder, sugar/jaggery and black salt in the raw mango pulp. Serve chilled

Mango and saffron lassi
Mango pulp from 2 mangoes
Yoghurt 75 ml
Saffron dissolved in milk 10 ml
Sugar to taste
Blend all the ingredients and serve chilled

Avocado, soy milk /milk and brown cane sugar
Avocado, pitted 1
Soya milk/low fat milk 75 ml
Brown cane sugar 1 tbsp
Blend everything together and serve chilled

Mixed berries, low fat yoghurt, soy milk/milk and honey
Blackberry, blueberry, red berries 50 gms
Low fat yoghurt 75 ml
Honey 2 tbsp
Soy milk/milk 50 ml
Blend everything and serve immediately

Spinach, carrot and celery juice
Spinach leaves 50 gms
Carrot 75 gms
Celery sticks 20 gms
Wash the spinach leaves well, then blend the ingredients together and serve immediately
