While marsala is being considered as the colour of the season, Day 2 at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week witnessed a heavy dose of grey. From saris and bandhgalas to dresses - the colour made quite an impact on the runway, emerging as a conspicuous favourite for the upcoming season.
Designers such as Anavila, Raghavendra Rathore, Deepika Govind and Antar Agni, among others, used the colour in eclectic ways. So, don't wait, it's time to paint the town grey.

1Use the colour in an Indian staple - the sari - just like this understated Anavila Misra creation
2Boys can have some fun with the colour as well by sporting a kurta pyjama like this design by Antar Agni and jazz it up by sporting grey shoes
3If you don't wish to go all out with the colour, add a dash of it to your look by sporting this Deepika Govind bolero
4It also serves as a good combination with prints and embroidery. Take a cue from this Divya Sheth ensemble
5Sport summer chic by using the colour in a flowy dress, the Patine way
6 Men can go classy by taking a departure from the usual black to a grey bandhgala. Raghavendra Rathore tells you how.
7Out-of-the-box is in. So, go experimental with the colour just like this Shraddha Nigam and Mayank Aanand creation
