As I walk down memory lane, my five years of experience in studying philosophy and its varied branches is worthy of praise and respect. It had in store the ‘Jewel of Life’ and knowledge that could make life more meaningful and purposeful.
Many of us wrongly interpret philosophy as merely spiritual or religious, but they are mistaken because they fail to understand its deep-rooted notions and aspects that are very much real and practical in our day-to-day life. Let us consider its one aspect that is important for every human being: Self analysis.
Doing philosophy means undergoing an inward journey that needs a lot of courage and rigour which may be quite a difficult task for many. But if one starts working on this, then the mere analysis of the self is the very first step towards that deep-rooted knowledge of the essence of existence.
What is important is to analyse ourselves, the positive and the negative in us, accepting the realities that are otherwise difficult to face. This will help you improve yourself as there can be no limit of learning and improvisation.
One can learn a lot just by being on one’s own. So just give some time to yourself, perhaps you will realise your inner strength and move on in your life more confidently with your head held high. And always remember that life is to smile, be it in any situation. Sadness won’t be of any help but your smile and positive approach towards life will make you a winner.
Yet we do not understand the real values and have a pessimistic approach towards life. We think that for some people, life is extremely simple and easy and for some others it is full of struggle and difficulties.
But the problem is that the former never realise that they are `blessed’ and the latter never want to accept that they will be ‘blessed’ soon. Keep smiling and have a positive approach in life, always. The struggle of life is to be enjoyed by enjoying its difficulties!
