We are essentially spiritual beings undergoing various human experiences. So the way of the world is always uneven and imperfect. It is like the curly tail of a dog.
Here we are invariably made to face right or wrong, good or evil, virtues or vices etc. We are compelled to suffer amidst these variable conditions.
Human excellence lies in standing against these imperfections and negativities. Hence he tirelessly strives for self-improvement, betterment of society and humanity at large. Human civilisation has become so wonderful due to continuous efforts of our great ancestors and we should significantly contribute to the same along with self-improvement. What is the use of having limitless human potentiality if we do not try to improve upon us and others and understand the riddle of the mysterious universe?
So far human improvement has predominantly been restricted to externals only in adding various comforts in living conditions. But our life has not become better due to dearth of love, fraternity, and well-being of all. We have really not moved much in cultivating values. We have a long way to go to get rid of greed, corruption and amassing wealth even for unborn seventh generation depriving others. We need to focus more on values and internal improvement.
At the individual level, we feel that we are undergoing exceptional calamities like Greek tragic heroes. Due to our myopic vision, we see the other side greener. Since everybody is destined to suffer in some way or other any comparison in this regard is extremely foolish. If someone suffers from needs, others suffer from abundance.
But the tragic experiences of life are intended for redemption and not for catastrophic end. If we are carried away by tragic occurrences we lose our way. If we take lessons from them we pave the way for redemption for cosmic union with our true self.
