Unidentified miscreants on Thursday stole two bags containing Rs 2 lakh cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh during a wedding at 32nd Milestone on NH 8, police said.

Both the bags belonged to an industrialist, who had come to 32nd Milestone to attend a marriage ceremony.
During the function, he had kept his two bags on a table.

After some time, he went to retrieve his bags, but found them to be missing from the table.
The theft created quite a chaos at the wedding ceremony. After a long search that went in vain, a complaint was filed with the police.

According to Civil Lines police, the two bags belonged to Vikarm, a resident of Sector 4,
"We are investigating the case," said Jaypal Singh, sub-inspector at the Civil Lines police station.
