Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday urged voters to give the Third Front a chance to to form a government in Rajasthan.
"In UP, we gave laptops to all students who have passed Class 12. In Rajasthan, the government gave laptops only to sudents who made it to the merit list," Yadav said.
Yadav was addressing a rally in support of Samajwadi Party candidate Nem Singh Faujdar in Nagar constituency of Bharatpur. He also addressed a rally in support of Samajwadi Party candidate Mahendra Yadav in Behror of Alwar district.
"In BJP and Congress run states, the chief ministers don't have the power to take decisions. They have to consult the party high command. It is necessary to have a local government to solve problems." Yadav said.
Yadav held both BJP and Congress responsible for spreading corruption in the country. They level charges of corruption against each other but both parties are guilty of the same, he added.
