Three bookies were arrested for accepting bets here on the Pakistan-New Zealand World Cup match, police said on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip off, police raided a buffaloes' shed at Sanwaria Nagar and caught Sunil Kasera, Harikrishna Srimal and Gopal Pandya, who were accepting the bets on the cricket match played yesterday, they added.

Betting chits having accounts of Rs 1.12 crore and seven mobile phones were recovered from them, police said.
