Three persons including two police constables were arrested in connection with a rape case in Mylavaram town in Krishna district, police said.

Alla Venkatarao and P Prasad attached to Mylavaram and Konduru police station respectively were held along with one localite identified as Munna, Police Commissioner Rajendranath Reddy told reporters said.

The trio, which was held after the victim filed a complaint, will be produced in the court, Reddy said.

Another accused named in the case is absconding and police has launched a search to nab him, he added.
