Three persons were seriously injured in a car bomb explosion carried out by ULFA in Upper Assam's Tinsukia district on Friday morning.
The time-devised bomb planted inside a Maruti Gypsy exploded at 7:30 am. In the busy Chamber road, the commercial hub of Tinsukia, police sources said.
The injured has been to shifted a hospital, the sources said adding that the area has been cordoned off and investigations were on.
The car bomb was first used by ULFA early this year when it triggered a bomb in front of a police station in Guwahati. No one was injured in that incident.
