Two villagers and a Naxalite were killed in an exchange of fire between a group of criminals and Maoists in Bihar's Munger district.

The exchange of fire took place near the confluence of river Ganga-Gandak in Hiranman diara area Monday night, Director General of Police Neelmani said.

The clash occured over a dispute over fishing in the area, Neelmani said. A few blood-stained uniforms of Naxalites were recovered from the spot, he said.
