Three LeT terrorists killed in J&K encounter

Three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Handwara area of Kupwara district, a defence spokesman said on Sunday.

On specific information, army laid a cordon of Ringpath village in Handwara area on Saturday. A search operation was started during which the terrorists opened fire on security forces. The troops retaliated killing the trio.

The slain terrorists have been identified as Saeed ul Islam, Osama Ghazi and Musa of Lashkar, all residents of Pakistan, the spokesman said adding three AK rifles, two radio sets, one ubgl launcher, four ubgl grenades and three Chinese hand grenades were recovered from them.
