Amid a spurt in cases involving the cab gang, the city police registered three more cases of loot. The latest victims include an assistant engineer, a BPO executive and a designer.

In the first case, assistant engineer Puneet, a resident of Gautam Buddh Nagar, was looted by four men at gunpoint in Sidhrawali village after he took a lift in a Santro car on December 22. They fled with cash, a mobile phone and wrist watch after pushing him out of the car, leading to multiple injuries. He filed the complaint after he recovered.

In the second incident, BPO executive Kamal Kapoor was looted when he boarded a Santro car to go to Delhi on December 19. Four unidentified men brutally thrashed him and snatched R3,100, a mobile and other valuables. They threw him out of the car near Hero Honda Chowk. In the third case, a man and his sister were thrashed by two bikers on Wednesday night when they were going to the Palam Vihar Vyapar kendra.

Aamir Zia and his sister were parking their car when the accused manhandled them and fled with a laptop, mobile phone and other valuables.
