Three ULFA militants, including a woman cadre, were apprehended in separate raids in Assam since yesterday, ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
Official sources said patrolling army jawans today apprehended Ajanta Kalita, an activist of ULFA's '709 battalion', from Hajo area of Kamrup (Rural) district.
In the second raid, a woman ULFA cadre, identified as Lamayanti Roy, was held by the police from Chipansila area in Bongaigaon district last night, the sources said.
In another raid yesterday, police arrested a hardcore ULFA militant, who had sneaked into the city possibly to carry out subversive activities ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, was arrested, the sources said.
Nabakanta Roy alias Naba Das, belonging to the ULFA's '709 battalion' in lower Assam, was apprehended by the police from a hideout in the Gorchuk area.
Patrolling was beefed up in the state following intelligence reports that the banned ULFA has plans to carry out violent attacks during the run-up to the polls.
