Bodies of three unidentified persons were found on Friday from a foreign boat which had drifted to coast near Rambai Temple, some 17 km from Porbander in Gujarat, police said.
The bodies were pulled out by officials of the local fire department and sent to Jamnagar Civil Hospital for postmortem, they said. According to police, the men appear to be of African origin and their boat has inscriptions written in Arabic.
Two big empty cans of kerosene and three sets of beddings were also found inside the boat, they said, adding the deceased were wearing `loongi' and thick jackets.
Investigations were on to ascertain the trio's identity, police added.
