Ticket aspirants for the upcoming assembly elections are leaving no stone unturned to make their biodata look impressive. As the process starts from presenting bio-data to senior leaders, some aspirants from rural pockets come up with interesting ways and formats to present their achievements in their bio-data.
One such aspirant spent Rs 1 lakh on her biodata. “I thought it was some publicity booklet. I kept it aside but then I was told that it is a bio-data,” said a senior Congress leader.
It consisted of about 100 pages with colour photographs on almost every page. The female ticket aspirant from Mandsaur then proudly said that all her achievements are mentioned in it, supported with photographs as evidence.
One of her supporters immediately came forward strengthening her claim and said that at least Rs 1 lakh has been spent to make the bio-data look impressive. Experts were hired to write and professional photographers assisted in the endeavour.
“So, we have now ‘lakhtakia’ biodata after a ‘lakhtakia’ car,” said the leader chuckling.
