Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a gang involved in the smuggling of tiger skins and arrested two Bangladeshis from East Delhi.
Ashraff and Noor Islam, belonging to Bangladesh, were arrested from New Bridge Khoda area on Wednesday and seized two tiger skins from their possession, police said.
They said the duo were part of a large gang involved in smuggling tiger skins to Bangladesh.
Interrogations have revealed that they procured the skin from Rajaji National Park in Rishikesh. They also revealed that they used to hunt tigers in the Uttaranchal hills, police claimed.
