Activists of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) staged a demonstration in Akola demanding reduction in load shedding hours.

The activists, protesting without their shirts, yesterday, threatened to disrobe the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) officials if their demands were not met.

The protestors, led by NSUI district head, Prashant Wankhade, submitted a memorandum to MSEDCL officials stating their demands.
Rural parts of Maharashtra are reeling under 10-16 hours of load shedding this summer.
