TOP SCORER of CBSE Class X from City, Pranay Vyas, seems quite a happy go lucky boy. But of course his luck was accompanied by consistent though not elaborate preparation for his exams.
Pranay, a student of Jawaharlal Nehru School BHEL, has scored 96.6 per cent marks and looks to have scored the highest among all students from City who appeared for class X exams of CBSE.
He is extremely happy about his performance and says that coaching as well as guidance received from school helped him immensely towards his achievement. He particularly mentions the sessions conducted in his school to remove doubts, which he said, were really helpful.
Pranay’s hold over all subjects is shown by the fact that he has scored 100 marks in Mathematics, 99 in science and social science, 94 in Sanskrit and 91 in English. But if you thought he kept pouring books day and night, you are very much wrong. “Apart from coaching and school I only studied for about three hours everyday.
That was sufficient,” he told Hindustan Times. Pranay is an avid quizzer and has participated in number of national-level competitions. He likes to play cricket and badminton, watch movies and read novels – suspense and thrillers.
His first objective now is to get into one of IITs to do his engineering graduation, following which he wants to appear for civil services examination. He has already joined an IIT-JEE coaching for the purpose.
