Most of us believe in one God or the other, but do we have total faith in the eternal power? Do we surrender to His will? Real faith should be accompanied by the total surrender to Him. Accept life as it comes without questioning. Accept the present moment with faith and take the appropriate action with higher motives, without worrying about the results.
In our prayers, we must express gratitude for what He has given us, and ask for divine grace, for clarity of mind, intellect and divine wisdom for self-realisation.
The best way to fulfill your intent is to think on what you really want? Keep asking this question, nurture it and leave it to the divine grace. You may not get the result soon, but in due course it will come as an opportunity or a coincidence or someone helping you or as a miracle.
On faith without surrender, share this story. A man, after falling down a cliff, was able to hold onto a branch of a tree, growing out of the cliff. He cried and shouted for help. When no one came, he looked up and pleaded to God to save him. He heard God’s voice, “leave the branch of the tree and I will save you”. The man looked all over, there was no one to hold him. So he shouted again, “God please come and hold me”. God replied, “my son, leave the branch and I will save you”. The man felt uncertain, looked towards heaven and shouted, “Is there any one else in heaven to come and hold me?”
One should have faith with full surrender to His will. Circumstances are not in our control. With spiritual wisdom, prayers and surrender, one can control one’s fears and negative thoughts.
I have experienced many incidents in my life, which originally I thought were harmful. Later, they proved to be great opportunities.
