Residents of Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) sectors can now dial an 11-digit toll-free number to track the status of their applications and complaints, saving them from the trouble of doing rounds of the Huda office.
They can dial the number, 18001803030, to resolve all their queries and grievances regarding plots, completion certificate and building plan sanctions.
Though the number has been activated, its formal inauguration will take place in Chandigarh.
“We are hopeful that latest by April end, the formal inauguration will take place. However, the number is functional and our men have started replying to people’s queries,” said Huda general manager (IT) Sanjay Sharma.
Also, residents can access information on all applications or services available in Huda’s citizens’ charter on the helpline number.
The list includes facilities like transfer permission, conveyance deed, mortgage permission, de-mortgage permission, building plan, occupation certificate, no dues certificate, re-allotment letter and possession certificate.
“I appreciate the effort and hope this number would be of some help to people like us who are fed up of going to Huda offices again and again in the pursuit of meeting officials,” said Ramesh Vashisth, a resident of Sector 15-1.
