Traffic awareness camp organised

A TRAFFIC awareness camp was organised at St Michael?s School here on Friday. According to school press release, traffic officials N K Rajat and Ashish Bhattacharya were the chief guests of the opening ceremony.

A TRAFFIC awareness camp was organised at St Michael’s School here on Friday. According to school press release, traffic officials N K Rajat and Ashish Bhattacharya were the chief guests of the opening ceremony.

On the occasion, Rajat highlighted the importance of traffic rules and regulations. He said 60 per cent of the accident victims are in between 16 and 35 years. He added further that the main causes of accidents were speeding, overtaking, overloading and others.

He also charted out traffic rules that should be followed by drivers as well as pedestrians. School secretary Syed Shakeel Mohammad presented the vote of thanks.
