Trains to remain cancelled, suspended

Due to security reasons, passenger trains on Kharagpur-Rourkela and Kharagpur-Adra section will continue to remain suspended and diverted during the night hours for the next three-four days.

According to a South-Eastern Railway press release Howrah-Mumbai Mail scheduled to leave Howrah at 21.15 hours on June 6 will leave at 5 hours on June 7.

Similarly Jnaneswari Express will leave Howrah at 4.30 hours on June 7 instead of 22.55 hours on June 6 and Azad Hind Express will leave one hour after Jnaneswari departure instead of 21.55 hours on June 6.

Besides, Ahmedabad Express will leave at 04 hours on Monday instead of 23.55 Sunday.

Orissa Sampark Kranti Express will leave Bhubaneshwar at 22 hours instead of 15.55 hours on June 6 and Puri-Patna Bidyanath Express will leave Puri 22 hours instead of 14.15 hours on June 7.

On the other hand, Jnaneswari Express, Mumbai Mail, Azad Hind Express and Porbandar Howrah Express will leave LTT, Mumbai (CSTM), Pune and Porbandar respectively on June 6, 7, 8 and 9 eight hours beyond schedule so that the trains reach Jharsuguda not before 4 hours.

However, 315/316 Howrah-Adra Chakradharpur passenger, 315A/316 Howrah-Adra Bokaro passenger and 353/354 Kharagpur-Tata passenger will remain cancelled till June 9.

Moreover, Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express leaving Puri on and from June 6 to June 9 and Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express arriving Jharsuguda on the aforesaid dates will run via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Cuttack instead of Jharsuguda-Tata-Kharagpur-Cuttack route.
