TRANSASIA CONSULTING, a well-established company in the US, on Monday announced the launch of its services in India with Indore as its base. Company head Sheetal Parikh told reporters here that Transasia is a full-fledged marketing services, research and e-commerce company whose mission is to help clients stay ahead in the competition by finding and deploying innovative ways for them to compete.
“Transasia in Indore will offer a diagnostic audit to the companies, which will provide a detailed report on weaknesses and recommendations for improvement on current marketing practices of the client company,” he explained.
The idea, Parikh said, was to provide the whole gamut of marketing services to the company. “A lot of companies export to Europe and the US and we are helping them to customise the marketing, as per global needs”, he said.
When asked about the choice of Indore over commercial capital Mumbai, Parikh said their aim is to provide services at very competitive prices and overhead costs in Mumbai would have defeated that purpose. “Indore is very strategically located and after the initial launch we plan to replicate this model in metros and mini-metros as well.”
About the scope for this kind of services, Parikh said there is an absolute vacuum in this particular sector and there is a lot of uncertainty about selling the products. To ensure that local entrepreneurs are able to afford the services, the company will charge only Rs 5000 for the initial audit.
The company has offices in Florida, California and Michigan and will soon open two offices in Europe. The major clients in the US are Ford Motors, Sunbeam, Whirlpool and Daimler Chrysler among others.
