TREASURE ISLAND Mall will celebrate its first anniversary with ‘The Anniversary Blast’ and a two-month shopping festival beginning on December 22. The anniversary blast will conclude on December 31.

Treasure Island Mall management head Manisha Kalani told reporters here on Tuesday that the customers and visitors to the mall would have a lot of prizes in store for them. The anniversary blast consists of hundreds of on-the-spot games prizes, gift vouchers to be won, Santa Claus distributing gifts to children, jugglers, unicyclists, clowns and stilt walkers to entertain people.

The games and interaction with public will be conducted by two anchors from Mumbai. A live DJ performance will be arranged at Atrium for the people to groove and enjoy. Manisha said that there would be mega prizes on December 22, 25 and 31.

Manisha explained that the shopping fiesta held on the lines of Dubai shopping festival, would give a chance for customers to win Maruti Wagon R, diamond jewellery, return tickets to Singapore from Indore, membership of Talwalkars and many gift vouchers through a lucky draw.

The buyers will be entitled to a lucky draw coupon on a purchase of Rs 1000 from the mall. Weekly draws sponsored by Lotus will also be held during the fiesta.

She said that footfalls of more than one lakh are expected during this celebration. She also said that the mall has become popular in the whole of Malwa belt and the number of repetitive buyers has increased over the months.

Treasure Island had around 2.52 crore visitors in its first year. According to her, some of the brands like Big Bazaar and PVR have had their all India highest sales from this mall during Diwali season.

“We plan to come up with 10 more Treasure Island malls coming up in various cities in the next three years and we are in discussions with brands like Reliance for that purpose”, said Manisha.
