Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has termed the cabinet decision not to allow BJP flag-hoisting yatra into the state as a corroboration of the anti-India mindset of the state administration.

"By taking a decision not to let nationalist people into this state to hoist tricolor in Valley, chief minister Omar Abdullah is trying to validate his earliest remark on accession having said that J&K is not the part of India," said BJP president Shamsher Singh.

He said that thousands of youth of the country is on the move to reach Jammu and Kashmir sporting the nationalist fervor to hoist tricolor in Kashmir, CM’s decision to ‘kill’ their patriotism is an apparent pointer towards his anti-India mindset substantiating separatism.

Shamsher Singh also reiterated its earlier stance saying that since the Centre as well as the state knows that the upcoming BJYM rally is likely to turn up one of the biggest event in the history of Jammu and Kashmir where the nationalist youth of the country would be defeating separatists’ nefarious plans and send a message across the world about states’ total integrity with India, the move has send shivers down the spine of the administration, particularly the chief minister whose statement in the floor of assembly about state’s accession too would end up in smoke.

"In no circumstance, the flag hoisting ceremony at Lal Chowk would be stopped. It is a national event now and any obstruction raised against it would be pulled down with all might," said Shamsher Singh.

Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) state president Munish Sharma said that Morcha was quite aware of such government move well ahead and is fully prepared to thwart any of its ‘mischief’.

"Chief minister is a confused man since he has lost his control as an administrative head. He cannot look beyond appeasing the separatists only," said BJYM chief adding, "Our entire Morcha unit is fully geared up to move to Kashmir and ‘Tiranga’ would unfurl at Lal Chowk on the Republic Day despite all odds."
