The "Telangana Mahagarjna" rally, scheduled to be held in Warangal on Thursday, has been postponed to December 16 because of heavy rains, the TRS said on Wednesday.
The Telangana Rasthra Samiti (TRS) planned to organise the rally to mark the anniversary of the Centre's announcement, on December 9 last year, on initiating the process for creating Telangana state.

However, heavy rain in the last two days has disturbed arrangements for the rally, forcing the TRS to put it off to December 16.
