BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS Divya Datta has said that the identify of TV stars is very limited in comparison to that of Cine stars.

“When the series of episodes of a TV serial is over, the audience starts forgetting the star unless he or she is further seen on the small screen. Just contrary to it, the viewers remember the performance of a cine stars for a long time whether he or she persistently performs or not,” Divya said.

Talking to HT during the inauguration of a health clinic,  The Body Care, here at Gulab Bagh on Thursday, the actress said she was a self-made artiste without having the extra favour of any big director or producer of Bollywood. Celebrity actress of Bollywood, Mumtaz  was her source of inspiration, she said.

In reply to a question, Divya said she had recently signed three movies with the Bollywood producers. The ongoing movie,  ‘Apne’ directed by Anil Sharma with celebrity stars like Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol would be released soon.

When asked about the portrayal of an actress as an ‘Item Girl’ for the success of career, she said, “Success and failure are altogether a different thing. What matters is that producers try to cater to the audience’s taste.”

To a question, Divya said it was not necessary for her to select a life partner from the Bollywood.  “I am looking for a life partner who really loves me and adjusts properly in the married life.”  The Body Care, which was inaugurated by the actress, is the 8th branch of the health care in UP. Managing director of  the Body Care Divya Sood and Regional Manager Miss Vatsala Sharma spoke about the methods of scientific weight loss.
