A day after a tunnel was discovered near the international border in Jammu region, two bikers from Pakistan crossed the border into RS Pura sector on Sunday morning. They were attested by Border Security Force and later after interrogation handed over to the Pak Rangers as a goodwill gesture.

The cops of the Border security Force (BSF) posted at Karotana, 35 km from Jammu, had spotted two bikers riding towards Indian territory and arrested them. They have been identified as Mahmood, 20 and Tahir Ali, 23 from village Kamarawali in Pakistan. According to the officials they were friends and had crossed the border inadvertently.

"After interrogating them, it was found that they inadvertently entered this side of the international border, and nothing incriminating was found from them," said officials.

The BSF officials said that they have been handed over to the Pak Rangers on Sunday evening, as a goodwill gesture.

According to police officials the BSF did not inform them about the case. They came to know about it after the biker duo had been sent back and the BSF had done everything themselves.
