Two Delhi students killed in accident in Sonepat

Two youths from Delhi were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a canter on the National Highway No 1 near Murthal village about 8 km from Sonepat last night.

According to police sources in Sonepat on Frida, the victims were identified as Ankit Singhal (23) of Ashok Nagar (Delhi) and his friend Nikhal Goel (22) of Rajinder Nagr (Delhi).

The police has registered the case and sent the bodies for the postmortem examination.

Police sources also revealed that both the victims were on their way to Murthal for taking the meals on a dhaba there.

When the car reached near Murthal, the car driver lost the control and the car rammed into the canter resulting in the deaths.

The victims Nikhal had returned from USA a few days ago, whereas the other victims had been working as an accountant in a private firm.
