Two employees of a farmhouse in the Surajkund area of Haryana were found murdered on Friday morning, police said.

The police said they found the bodies around 7am at the farmhouse, after they were alerted by Narinder, who has been running the farmhouse on lease for the past few years.

"We rushed to the spot and found the two dead bodies,” said Pal Singh, officiating SHO, Surajkund Police Station.

He said, "We suspect the hand of a former employee of the farmhouse, against whom a case of murder has been registered."

The deceased, Satish Kumar, who managed the farmhouse, and Arvind, are from Bahadurgarh in Haryana and from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, respectively. Both bodies were handed over to their respective families after post-mortem examination on Friday.

The farmhouse is owned by Greater Kailash resident Jagpal Singh, said the police. Preliminary police investigations found that two former employees of the farmhouse, Shyam Singh Bhati and Jeetu, both hailing from Bulandshahr, had come to the farmhouse on Thursday night. Bhati had been sacked from the job about a fortnight ago by the farmhouse's manager, Satish Kumar.

"Our investigation shows that last evening Shyam Singh and Jeetu had hit Satish Kumar and Arvind with a cricket bat repeatedly after consuming liquor. Both the men died on the spot", police officials said, adding, "The killing seems to be an act of revenge for sacking Bhati."

Meanwhile, teams of Haryana Police have been deputed to different locations to nab the killers. "We are hopeful of arresting the accused at the earliest," Pal Singh said. Narinder could not be reached for comments.
