Two Hizbul Mujahideen men killed in J&K

Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were killed in a clash with Army in Tral quarter of southern Pulwama district on Monday. One soldier was also injured in the clash.
Sources said that the troops of Army's 55-RR and 44-RR launched a search operation in league with Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police at Sofigund village in Tral early on Monday morning. They said that terrorists, hiding in the village, fired upon the search party, which led to a fierce encounter.
Official sources said that bodies of two terrorists were recovered from the site when the encounter ended. They were identified as Ghulam Hassan and Mohammad Shafi, local cadres of Hizbul Mujahideen. One soldier was also injured.
Meanwhile tension continued in parts of Anantnag for the second day on Monday where residents alleged that army fired at and critically injured a 16-year youth at Mirbazar on Sunday.
Identified as Mansoor Ahmad Wani of Bumthan village, the boy was shot at by a soldier after he entered into an argument with the jawan during frisking. The youth was rushed to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science, where his condition was stated serious.
