Two injured in crude bomb blast in Kanpur

Raj Kumar has been arrested while the two injured have been admitted to UHM Hospital, police said, adding that further investigations were in progress.

Two persons were injured when a man allegedly threw a country-made bomb near a shop in Bangali Mohal area on Tuesday, police said.

Raj Kumar, along with an associate, went to the shop of his cousin Ashok Kumar, with whom he reportedly had a property dispute, and engaged into an altercation, police said.

After some verbal duel, Raj threw a country-made bomb near the shop, resulting to injuries to two customers, Hari Ram Shukla and Vishwanath, they said.

Raj Kumar has been arrested while the two injured have been admitted to UHM Hospital, police said, adding that further investigations were in progress.
