Trust Ekta Kapoor to keep the viewer interest intact in her long-winding serials. While Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi recently got a shot in the arm with its 20-year-generation jump, tonight’s episodes of Kavyanjali and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki will have dramatic turns that would alter the lives of Anjali and Parvati, the two lead female protagonists respectively, until of course the next twist.

In an one-hour long special crossover episode (remember Kapoor had earlier made Kasauti Zindagi Kay join hands with Aruna Irani’s Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand tonight, the two serials will overlap for one night.

Here’s a sneak peek into tonight’s goings on.

Parvati and Anjali will come together in a special crossover episode tonight

Eureka! Anjali will come face to face with Soham (Eijaz Khan marks a return to the show) who is a look-alike of her dead husband Kavya.

Déjà vu: Why is it that only TV characters have look-alikes of their spouses when life could have been more exciting for Anjali after Kavya’s death, especially when she was all set to marry the dishy Shaurya (Iqbal Khan)!

Eureka! Soham pops up just when Anjali has decided to start afresh after Kavya’s death and marry her good friend Shaurya.

Déjà vu: Remember many months ago just when Kyunki’s Tulsi Viraani (Smriti Iraani) was all set to marry Anupam Kapadia (Aman Verma), suddenly in one of TV’s first miraculous reappearances, her first husband Mihir Virani (Amarr Upadhyay) made a dramatic re-entry.

Eureka! Parvati Agarwal is going to find an important clue at Anjali’s house, which would lead her to the killer of her husband Om.

Déjà vu: A couple of years ago Pammi (the protagonist of Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand) also had come face to face with a person at Prerna’s (of Kasauti Zindagi Kay) house, who had changed her life.
