Two killed in separate road mishaps

Two road accidents took place in the city on Monday night, claiming two lives.

A youth who was riding a motorcycle came under the wheels of a truck, near Teen Imli crossing.He died on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Yashwant Vishwakarma, 25, resident of Tilak Nagar.An identity card was found from his possession, which mentioned that he worked for a newspaper Yuva Shakti Times.The accident took place at around 1am.The truck which was involved in the accident is yet to be traced.
The parents of the deceased were called at the accident site soon after the accident and they identified Yashwant and his motorcycle.Palaisa police have registered a case in this connection.

The other accident took place near Dhar Road at around 2.30am.An unidentified vehicle hit a youth.Though there are no eyewitnesses, police said that it is possible that a heavy vehicle hit him and then ran over him.His body was found by a police team from Chandan Nagar police station who was on night patrol.
The police identified him as Jitendra Yadav, 22.The family members of the deceased were also informed about the accident.
