Two militant hideouts busted in JK

Army troops on Monday busted two militant hideouts in Poonch and Doda districts and arrested two over ground workers of Lashker-e-toiba from Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Army troops on Monday busted two militant hideouts in Poonch and Doda districts and arrested two over ground workers (OGWs) of Lashker-e-toiba (LeT) from Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

A search operation was launched in Dhoba Dhok in Mandi area of Poonch district and two AK-47 rifles, 120 bullets, four AK magazines, a large quantity of medicines and one radio set were recovered.

"However, no arrest has been made in this connection so far," the police said.

Troops also busted another hideout in Ind area of Gandohj belt in Doda district and recovered a gun, 12 bullets, three magazines and some radio sets, they said.

Two OGWs of LeT - identified as Abdul Haq and Jangbaz -- were also arrested in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district and were later handed over to police for further investigation, they said.
