Acting on the information of some villagers, Army's Engineer Unit from Pathankote rushed to Basantar river bank along the International Border in Samba, 50 kms from here, officials said.

They recovered two mines, including a powerful Anti-Tank Mine, which were washed away by flood waters. The mines were later safely defused.
