Two Pakistani nationals escape from police custody

Two arrested Pakistani nationals being taken to Lucknow in connection with a court case escaped from police custody in Minasimla village in the district in the wee hours on Wednesday.

The two arrested for allegedly forging passports were being brought from Rajkot by a Gujarat police team. On reaching the district, about 100 kms from Jaipur, around 3 AM, the two requested the accompanying policemen to halt the jeep as they wanted to answer the call of nature, Superintendent of Police, Dausa, Nissar Ahmed Farooqui said.

But soon after getting down, the two handcuffed Pakistanis gave police a slip, he said. The Gujarat police team comprised a sub inspector and six constables.
