Two Pakistani terrorists, civilian killed in Kashmir gunbattle

Two Pakistani cadres of Lashkar-e-Toiba and a civilian were killed in a gunbattle between terrorists and security forces at Samlar village in northern Bandipora in Kashmir on Saturday.
According to the SSP Baramulla Viplav Kumar, the encounter broke when acting on a specific information police and 14 RR cordon off Sumlar and zeroed in on the house of Abdul Jabbar Lone.
The Pak terrorists had made a hideout in the house. No sooner did the policemen assisted by the security forces encircled the house, a firefight broke. The hideout inside the house was targeted with hand grenades, and both the militants got killed, SSP said.
He said that no damage was caused to house. However, the Bashir Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Jabbar Lone was killed. AK 47- 02, Magazines-06 and Rounds- 223 were recovered from the hideout. Three bodies have also been recovered.
SSP further said that a dairy has been recovered from the slain terrorists in which Mustafa Anjum and Raashid Ramdan were given.
In a separate operation, police and troops of CRPF busted a hideout of terrorists in Ganderbal and recovered some arms and ammunition, from the hideout.
An official spokesman said that acting on specific information, Police Ganderbal and troops of 42 Bn CRPF carried out search operation in the forest area of Badergund Urpash jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal.
A hideout of militants was busted. However 05 AK magazines, 139 AK rounds, 02 UBGL grenades, 06 Pencil cells, 01 Brown sugar packet 04 Blankets and 01 Tripolin were recovered from the hideout.
